- Underage drinking plays a huge role as related to teens and risky sexual activity, according to research by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA).
- Facts on Tap was launched during 1998, and is an alcohol prevention initiative designed to educate and inform students about alcohol abuse and to combat binge drinking on college campuses; this government sponsored program reaches out directly to students across the country and provides awareness materials, technical assistance, and training to more than 800 colleges nationwide.
